Welcome to the UGA Small Business Development Center at Valdosta State

The UGA Small Business Development Center at Valdosta State University is a public service outreach unit that provides business and economic development assistance for Atkinson, Berrien, 布鲁克斯, 赢得, 咖啡, 烹饪, Echols, 拉尼尔, 朗兹, and Thomas Counties in South Central Georgia.  As part of 澳博体育app下载's Harley Langdale, Jr. College of Business Administration, the UGA SBDC is an essential resource for small businesses.  Practical experience, combined with advanced education, gives our consultants the ability to apply current business theory to the challenges faced by today's entrepreneurs.  

As part of the University of Georgia's Small Business Development Center, this office is one of seventeen offices located throughout the state.  In 2017, the UGA SBDC celebrated its 40th Anniversary and is always "Committed to Growing Georgia's Businesses".   Headquartered at the University of Georgia in Athens, the UGA Small Business Development Center at Valdosta State University is working in partnership with seven other universities and colleges to provide business consulting and continuing education opportunities to Georgia's entrepreneurs.

每年, the UGA SBDC provides consulting assistance to more than 5,000 business clients on a wide variety of topics such as writing a business plan, applying for a loan or other financial assistance, QuickBooks, and marketing their products or services.  Additionally, the UGA SBDC provides continuing education programs to more than 10,000 individuals each year on a diverse curriculum including Starting a Business, QuickBooks, Sales and Use Tax, 市场营销, Business Planning, 和其他人.  自1977年以来, our network of partners have helped construct a statewide ecosystem to foster the spirit, 支持, and success of hundreds of thousands of entrepreneurs and innovators.
